Requested Documents

To qualify borrowers we will require certain information and documentation to assess the borrowers' eligibility for a mortgage loan. While specific requirements will vary depending on the lender and loan type, here are some common elements we will evaluate to approve a borrower.

  1. Personal Information: We will need each borrower's full name, date of birth, social security number, and contact information (address, phone number, email).
  2. Employment and Income Details: We will ask for information about each borrower's employment history, including the name and address of the employer, job title, and duration of employment. We will also request your income information from employment.
  3. Financial Information: We will require details about each borrower's financial situation, such as their bank account and investment account balances and list of other assets.
  4. Credit History: We will review borrowers' credit history to assess their creditworthiness. This involves obtaining a credit report from all three bureaus. The credit report provides information o the borrowers; credit score, payment history, outstanding debts and payment obligations, and any history of adverse events like bankruptcies or foreclosures.

To perform an initial assessment and to pre-qualify or pre-approve borrowers, we will need a Loan Application and some supporting documentation. The following is a general list of documents that will help us to evaluate your potential qualification to obtain a new mortgage loan:
